The Tier 2 collection is a rare and meaningful expression within the Johnnie Walker Vault Nigeria collection. Created as a Celebration of Spirit, it captures the vibrancy, culture, and progress that define Nigerians while reflecting Johnnie Walker's ongoing journey of craftsmanship and innovation. Only 55 bottles exist in the world, making it an exceptionally limited release.

The Story

At its heart, this blend is a conversation between old and new. It brings together rare and historic Scotch whiskies alongside distinctive modern elements to create something deeply symbolic and unique. The journey begins in Scotland, where some of the rarest whiskies were carefully selected from legendary distilleries including Port Ellen, Cambus, and Port Dundas. These rare stocks were blended alongside whisky from Teaninich, created using chocolate malt, adding a distinctive richness to the final expression. Each bottle captures the spirit of a people shaped by resilience, creativity, and progress.

Tasting Notes

The liquid reveals gentle wood smoke that adds depth and warmth, rich and bold notes inspired by the warmth and spice of jollof rice, earthy undertones reminiscent of laterite roads after rain and fresh, flowing notes that evoke the clarity of waterfalls. Together, these elements create a complex blend that is expressive and memorable.
