GEMMOLOGY -The baguette-cut emeralds were extremely difficult to cut: all need to perfectly fit the peculiar curves of the watch. They were incredibly challenging to source for our gemmologists, as they have to be of the same exact colour and size. It took over 1 year to find all the emeralds! -Fossilized wood is petrified: this means that its organic matter has been replaced by minerals. Concretely, wood’s anatomy is retained, hence the veins remain visible on the dial.
