Following the high stakes of the 1960s space race, NASA’s second iconic era centred on its fleet of Space Transportation System (STS) vehicles. Better known as the Space Shuttle, this breakthrough reusable spacecraft flew 135 missions between 1981 and 2011, capturing the imaginations of millions in the years straddling the end of the Cold War.
NASA Atlantis is available in fountain pen, rollerball and twist-action ballpoint modes. Fountain pens are issued with a 6 mm steel filigree nib (EF, F, M, B, Stub 1.1, Stub 1.5) and are cartridge-converter fed.
